MOLERA RANCH HOUSE MUSEUM
The Molera Ranch House showcases the rich heritage of the coast. Come view displays and artifacts about Big Sur
artists, authors, early pioneers, indigenous peoples, and life in Big Sur over a period of years. The museum shop includes a selection of books about Big Sur and choice history-inspired gifts.
 
Open weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. when a docent is available. From mid-June through August, the Museum is usually open Thursday – Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

DIRECTIONS TO MOLERA RANCH HOUSE MUSEUM

Andrew Molera State Park is located 21 miles south of Carmel on Highway One. Turn right off of Highway One and follow the road to the parking lot. A fee of $8.00 will be charged for day use of beautiful Andrew Molera Park with access to numerous hiking trails and the beach.


From the parking lot, please head through the arch toward Molera Trail Rides, turn left at the first driveway. Drive through the gate, past the Ventana Wildlife Society Barn and bird lab,  follow the Ranch House signs. We are in the white Ranch House on the right.

The Molera Ranch House Museum is operated in partnership between the Big Sur Historical Society and the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
